Quem goste dos R.E.M. e mais particularmente do álbum Document de 1987, reconhecerá no título deste post o nome de uma música desse álbum.
Nessa canção, há uma parte em que se ouvem as palavras que Joseph Welch, advogado do exército dos Estados Unidos, proferiu numa das audiências com o senador Joseph McCarthy, por este andar a investigar se havia comunistas infiltrados no exército norte-americano.
