Dream, dream, dream, dream
Dream, dream, dream, dream
When I want you in my arms
When I want you and all your charms
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Dream, dream, dream, dream
When I feel blue in the night
And I need you to hold me tight
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Dream
I can make you mine, taste your lips of wine
Anytime night or day
Only trouble is, gee whiz
I’m dreamin’ my life away
I need you so that I could die
I love you so and that is why
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Dream, dream, dream, dream
Dream
I can make you mine, taste your lips of wine
Anytime night or day
Only trouble is, gee whiz
I’m dreamin’ my life away
I need you so that I could die
I love you so and that is why
Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Dream, dream, dream, dream
Dream, dream, dream, dream
Para quem queira tentar o karaoke, eis a letra da Ghost Riders in the Sky, canção de 1948 e com versões por 351 mil artistas diferentes (ok, talvez um pouco menos):
An old cowpoke went riding out
One dark and windy day,
Upon a ridge he rested as
He went along his way,
When all at once a mighty herd
Of red eyed cows he saw,
A-plowin' through the ragged skies
And up a cloudy draw.
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost herd in the sky.
Their brands were still on fire and
Their hooves were made of steel,
Their horns were black and shiny and
Their hot breath he could feel,
A bolt of fear shot through him as
He looked up in the sky,
For he saw the riders comin' hard
And he heard their mournful cry:
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred,
Their shirts all soaked with sweat,
They're riding hard to catch that herd,
But they ain't caught 'em yet,
'cause they've got to ride forever on
That range up in the sky,
On horses snortin' fire, as
They ride on hear their cry:
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
The cowpokes loped on past him and
He heard one call his name,
If you want to save your soul from hell
A-riding on our range,
Then, cowboy, change your ways today,
Or with us you will ride,
A-trying to catch the devil's herd
Across these endless skies.
Yippee-yi-ya, yippee-yi-yo,
Ghost riders in the sky.
Crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
I just can't seem to get you off my mind
Crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
You're the one I love, I think about you all the time
Crying, do do do do, tear keep a falling all night long
Waiting, do do do do, it seems so useless I know it's wrong
Keep a crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
Maybe someday soon it'll change and you'll be mine
Crying, do do do do, tears keep a falling all night long
Waiting, do do do do, it seems so useless I know it's wrong
Keep a crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
Maybe someday soon it'll change and you'll be mine
Crying, waiting, hoping
The opening guitar riff on "Johnny B. Goode" may be the most famous single riff in rock and roll history. It is essentially a note-for-note copy of the opening single-note solo on Louis Jordan's "Ain't That Just Like a Woman" (1946), played by guitarist Carl Hogan.
I'mma do the things That I wanna do I ain't got a thing To prove to you I'll eat my candy With the pork and beans Excuse my manners If I make a scene I ain't gonna wear The clothes that you like I'm finally dandy With the me inside One look in the mirror And I'm tickled pink I don't give a hoot About what you think
The first coupling of the words "rock" and "roll" on record came in 1916, in a recording of a spiritual, "The Camp Meeting Jubilee", by an unnamed vocal "quartette" issued by Little Wonder Records. The lyrics include "We've been rocking and rolling in your arms / Rocking and rolling in your arms / In the arms of Moses".
Orbison gave his only public rendition of the hit, to the applause of a huge crowd, at an awards ceremony in Antwerp, Belgium a few days before his death.

Well, you're my friend And can you see Many times we've been out drinking Many times we've shared our thoughts But did you ever, ever notice, the kind of thoughts I got Well you know I have a love, for everyone I know And you know I have a drive, to live I won't let go But can you see this opposition, comes rising up sometimes That is dread full imposition, comes blacking in my mind
And then I see a darkness And then I see a darkness And then I see a darkness And then I see a darkness Did you know how much I love you There's a hope that somehow you Can save me from this darkness
Well I hope that someday buddy We'll have peace in our lives Together or apart Alone or with our wives And we can stop our whoring And pull the smiles inside And light it up forever And never go to sleep My best unbeaten brother This isn't all I see
Oh no, I see your darkness Oh no, I see your darkness Oh no, I see your darkness Oh no, I see your darkness Did you know how much I love you There's a hope that somehow you You'll save me from this darkness
I really don't wanna look stupid when I'm sleeping I never really liked sunny days The black wings just reach out to me over a distance... And I can feel the wind from the wings I see the clouds, I feel the ocean with my feet, and I'm home again It requires an ability to judge distance The airplane flies high...turns left, looks right
love is a sentimental heart life is a sentimental way spy the fragile heart so cursed as he walks across this earth i'm disconnected by your smile disconnect a million miles and what you promised me i hope will set you free i'm disconnected by your smile
If I knew where I was going I would already be there (Laugh) I wish I had more time Judicious, beautiful, uh, demented, whatever I've always been afraid to die, but I think I'm more afraid to live
and all i gave to you is lost and all you took from me is lost black wings carry me so high up to meet you in the sky i'm disconnected by your smile disconnect a million miles and what you promised me i hope will set you free i'm disconnected by your smile wishing you were real to me wishing i could make believe i'll take my secrets to the grave safely held beneath the waves always knew i couldn't save always knew i couldn't save you
[8:02] And in the heart I know you're there And in my heart I know you care And in my heart I know you don't
Stilton -eating participants enjoyed their sleep too – over two thirds had good sleep experiences during five out of the seven nights. However, if you want some vivid or crazy dreams, the King of British cheeses is the one for you – particularly if you are female. While 75% of men in this category experienced odd and vivid dreams, a massive 85% of females who ate Stilton had some of the most bizarre dreams of the whole study – although none were described as bad experiences. Highlights included talking soft toys, lifts that move sideways, a vegetarian crocodile upset because it could not eat children, dinner party guests being traded for camels, soldiers fighting with each other with kittens instead of guns and a party in a lunatic asylum.
I don't know how to begin Cause the story has been told before I will sing along I suppose I guess it's just how it goes
And now those spring in the air I don't go down anywhere I guess it's just how it goes The story have all been told before
If you don't try The light won't hit your eyes And the moon won't rise and fall in sight
If you don't try The light won't hit your eyes And the moon won't rise and fall in sight
I don't know how it'll end Though the records play I guess it's just how it goes The story have all been told before I guess it's just how it goes The story have all been told before I guess it's just how it goes
