Mercury Rev - The Secret Migration
Continuando em Mercury Rev...esta é a capa do próximo album de nome The Secret Migration. Nas lojas a 24 de Janeiro de 2005 e...entretanto...nos computadores de quem o quiser! E no meu pc já está! Este é um dos albuns que aguardava com mais expectativa desde há muito tempo...nestes ultimos 2 anos os Mercury Rev passaram de uma banda conhecida mas a que não ligava muito a uma das minhas bandas preferidas de sempre. Este 6º album parece seguir o rumo indicado pelo Deserter's Songs (o meu preferido deles...acho eu) e pelo All Is Dream. Depois de ouvi-lo a primeira vez gostei do tom geral do album e destaco a Across Yer Ocean, Black Forest (Lorelei), Vermillion e Arise. Não há nenhuma canção que à primeira vez me tenha parecido má. Não sei ainda se gosto mais deste do que dos albuns anteriores....ainda tenho que os ouvir muitas vezes! E vou adorar ter que o fazer!
Entretanto...aproveitando a onda Mercury Rev...gravei um cd de mp3...com albuns deles e dos My Bloody Valentine. Uma pequena maravilha onde cabem estes diamantes, dos Mercury Rev:
